Stansberry 'Partnership'
Meet your Alliance Partners

What Does it Mean to be an Alliance Partner?

BY DR. STEVE SJUGGERUD, SENIOR PARTNER, STANSBERRY RESEARCH

Dear Reader,

Together, Porter and I have watched Stansberry Research grow from a small, two-man shop into one of the biggest independent financial research firms in the world, with over 500,000 subscribers.

But we can’t take all the credit...

For as long as I can remember, we’ve had the support of a handful of our most dedicated readers... folks we refer to as “Partners” in our business.

Who are these people exactly?

What sets them apart from the majority of our readers?

And why are we offering you a chance to become a ‘Partner’ in our business for a brief, 24-hour period, beginning this Wednesday?

As you’ll see...

Our ‘Partners’ are different from the average Stansberry subscriber.

For starters, they’re incredibly patient. They understand... if you want to develop a new skill – especially a difficult skill like investing – it takes time.

Another thing I love about our Partners is... they’ve made a clear effort to follow mentors and experts who help guide their thinking.

It’s pretty smart and it’s something I’ve always tried to do in my own career.

  • When I wanted to know what was going on in the gold and silver coin market – I reached out to Van Simmons. And he was a huge help. Van has probably taught me more about making money outside of the stock market than anyone else in my career.
  • When I wanted to understand what happens during a true currency crisis... and which investments might soar in value – I went to Eduardo Elsztain, who runs Cresud – the largest single owner of farmland in Argentina.
  • And when I wanted to get an inside look at what’s really going on in China... and how it could affect the U.S. markets – I picked up the phone and called my friend, Peter Churchouse. Peter is the former head of Morgan Stanley’s division in Asia. In his 30-plus years over there, he’s seen just about every type of boom and bust possible.

My point is this...

There are certain qualities – certain successful habits our “Partners” possess. And if you share these same traits... you develop them and surround yourself with the right people – it could change your life.

Which brings me to this Wednesday...

You see, for the past several years, the only way to become a Stansberry Research ‘Partner’ was to receive a private invitation, from Porter.

But for the last two years, we created a brief Open Enrollment window for our readers to see if Partnership made sense for them... even if they had never been invited before.

This year, we are going to do it again.

We figure it’s the right thing to do, because we’re about to raise the one-time entry fee.

Keep in mind, we may never do an Open Enrollment period for Alliance ‘Partners’ ever again – and if we do, it will be at a higher price.

If you have any questions, we’ve assembled a list of Frequently Asked Questions, answered by our Member Services Director, Nicholas Giro. We’ve also put together a full list of all the benefits we’d like to offer you in the months ahead.

Go ahead and take a look...

At the very least, spend five minutes exploring the many perks we’d like to offer you as a new ‘Partner’ in our business.

And if you do accept Porter’s offer, I’ll look forward to shaking your hand at one of our private, “partners-only” events.

What is it REALLY Like to Work Alongside Porter?

BY MIKE PALMER, SENIOR PARTNER, STANSBERRY RESEARCH

If you’re a fan of our research, you might wonder: What is it like to work with Porter Stansberry?

Let me tell you...

From the first day I started out in this business 18 years ago, one of the first things I noticed was how well Porter treated his employees.  And I think it’s indicative of how we treat our customers, as well.

Most of the businesses where I worked... the person running the business tried to pay everybody as little as possible and spend as little as possible on everything.

But from day one, Porter took the complete opposite approach. He wanted to treat employees better than they’d ever been treated anywhere else. He spent extraordinary sums of money on the best talent and the best technology in the industry.

I think that’s one of the huge reasons we’ve been so successful. Porter has a way of attracting top talent, treating them incredibly well and making people feel like they really want to work here.

I can remember, for years, before we grew so quickly, Porter would take every employee on a nice vacation every year. People got to go to fantastic places they never would have been able to travel on their own.

I can remember meetings we had in far-away places, like Switzerland. Porter would fly in experts – people like Jim Rogers – from halfway across the world – first class.

And I remember thinking, “This is crazy.” Because it cost us a fortune to do this type of thing. But as Porter’s always said, treating people well pays for itself – and then some. It’s a simple thing – but most people in the financial research world still don’t get this. They don’t do business this way. Even our competitors, they’re always looking for the cheapest way to do just about everything.

I’m glad they do, too, because I know it gives us – and our readers – a huge advantage.

If I had to boil it all down to a simple line... the guiding principle of our business is... we try to treat our readers the way we’d like to be treated, if our roles were reversed. Without a doubt, it’s the most important thing I’ve learned from Porter and the growth of Stansberry Research.

I know that sounds like a “tag line,” but whenever someone in my family asks me what to do with their money, I just tell them: read our work. Read Porter’s letter. Read Dan Ferris’s letter. Read Steve’s letter. Read Doc’s letter. That’s what I do and that’s what I tell my family and friends to do.

If you’re serious about becoming a better investor, you may be a good fit for our Alliance Partnership. If you’re the right type of person, there’s nothing else like it. Membership in the Alliance is not a typical subscription. It’s a life-long asset of incredible value. And it’s something many of our readers intend to pass on to their kids and grandchildren... like a prized family heirloom.

At the very least, I hope you’ll look over the incredible benefits available to our Alliance Partners. Porter delights in “spoiling” them – the same way he treats his most prized employees. We’ve posted the full details, right here.
